Position Purpose
Support the project management team and field leaders in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role provides hands-on experience in construction operations, design/VDC/fabrication, and team collaboration.
Position Responsibilities
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and coordination.
- Participate in internal design, coordination, and fabrication reviews.
- Support site operations and monitor construction progress.
- Help maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and as-builts.
- Manage certain projects based on skills, abilities, and experience.
- Eagerness to learn and take initiative.
- Participate in meetings with contractors, architects, and engineers.
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and end of month financial reporting.
Summary of Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Strong interest in construction project management and design.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Currently enrolled in an applicable construction management or related program at an accredited institution.
